An anniversary surprise has one hard requirement that a birthday does not: the other person must not find out. That constraint decides everything — the location, the timing and how much decoration is realistic. Here is how we handle it in Patna.
Pick the location by how easy it is to keep secret
Bedroom / living room at home
Cheapest and most common. The problem is access: someone has to get your partner out of the house for 2 to 3 hours. If you have that person — a sibling, a friend, a dinner reservation — this is the best option. Heart-shaped balloon walls, candles, fairy lights, petals.
Terrace
Underrated in Patna, and the best value for money. Open sky, string lights, a table for two. Works from October to March; avoid the peak summer months and the monsoon. It needs a clear terrace and a power point, and it is genuinely easy to keep secret because nobody goes up there.
Hotel room
The easiest secret to keep and the most expensive option overall, because the room itself costs more than the decoration. Check the hotel’s policy first — some do not permit outside decorators, and some charge for it. Ask before you book the room, not after.
Timing the surprise
Our setups take 1 to 2.5 hours depending on the design. That is the window you need to create. Some practical tricks that have worked for our customers:
- A salon or spa appointment booked as an “anniversary gift” — buys 2 to 3 hours cleanly
- Sending them to a relative’s house for lunch
- Booking dinner at 8 pm and having us set up between 5 and 7
Give us a contact number that is not your partner’s, and tell us if we should not call at certain times. We do this often and we are careful about it.

Prices
Our anniversary decoration range has 56 designs from ₹999 to ₹14,500. The distribution is useful to know:
- ₹999 – ₹2,999 — balloon wall, candles, petals. A room surprise.
- ₹3,000 – ₹4,999 — larger backdrop, lights, table setup.
- ₹5,000 – ₹9,999 — the biggest group. Full room or terrace setup with props and a photo corner.
- ₹10,000+ — terrace dinners, large installations, hotel suites.
If you want to add a cake, our anniversary cakes can be delivered with the setup so it arrives cold and in one trip.
Booking and payment
- Inside Patna, same day decoration is possible if the team is free — but for an anniversary, book a day ahead if you can.
- Outside Patna, booking at least one day in advance is compulsory, and an 18% convenience charge applies.
- 35% advance confirms the booking. The balance is paid after the decoration is completed.
Last thing
Decide who is taking the photos before your partner walks in. The first reaction lasts about four seconds, and nobody in the room ever remembers to record it.
